I feel like lipstick makes my lips look kind of unnatural, and i want a rose-like tint on my lips.
I don’t wear makeup so that will definitely make my lips pop out.
Does anyone know where or what will do this?
You can get a lovely tint from benefit called ‘benetint’ and this will stay on for ages.
I don’t know a thing about you, but I have heard people interested in the health of their skin wonder many times, just what is the best makeup to hide fine lines and wrinkles? The reason is that everyone is at least somewhat self conscious of the lines on their face, and some are desperate to find a solution to eliminating their wrinkles. Until they find the answer they feel that they at least need to find a way to conceal the way that their skin looks.
The problem really lays in the inability of the major cosmetics companies to come up with the answer to the problem of erasing the lines and wrinkles that form on our skin. They simply keep throwing the same products at us year after year, and somehow they trick us into buying these useless products every time. When though will they give us something that we can really use?
There would be absolutely no need for people to seek out the best makeup to hide fine lines and wrinkles if we had products that contained ingredients that would aid the body in increasing the amount of collagen, and elastin it produced. Instead they try to convince us that all that we have to do is rub a little collagen into our skin, and that somehow everything will be better.
The truth is that collagen cannot be absorbed by your skin, so no amount of rubbing with these formulas is going to do any of us any good. Even if they could somehow produce absorbable collagen the amount that you would receive would be so miniscule that you wouldn’t even be able to tell that you had used it. External application of collagen is not the answer.
If you want to avoid shopping for the best makeup to hide fine lines and wrinkles then you should consider trying the products that are being produced by a certain company from New Zealand. They were already respected for producing some of the most potent all natural health supplements in the world, and now they have ventured into the world of all natural anti aging skincare products.
What they have developed are a line of products that are focused around two very unique ingredients. Functional Keratin is the main player in these formulas, because of its ability to greatly increase the production rate of you own natural collagen and elastin. The second ingredient is a kelp extract from a variety that is found exclusively in the Sea of Japan.
With the effects that these Functional Keratin and Phytessence Wakame have on your skin there will be no reason to waste your time or money on trying to find the best makeup to hide fine lines and wrinkles. Wakame raises the level of hyaluronic acid that is in your skin. Returning this tissue back to healthy levels will help your fresh collagen and elastin iron your wrinkles right out.
Do yourself a favor, save your money! Who needs the best makeup to hide fine lines and wrinkles when there are products available that will do for you everything that the others can’t!

When you have gotten over playing with Barbie Dolls and eating tootsie rolls, the little girl in you will soon shift interests. Everything will be about shoes, dresses, crushes and most of all buying stuff that could make you look more beautiful and more mature. As we grow to become more mature, buying cosmetics becomes an integral part of living. Everyday, you will be slathering lotion to enhance the smoothness of your skin. You cannot leave home without using an anti-perspirants like deodorants. You probably wore colored nails right now using the flashiest color to match your clothes. Well, it is part of growing up. It is normal that your interest will shift into things that could help you look great aesthetically.
Teenagers and women also love to pamper their faces. They may ask you to buy those powders or eyeshadows from time to time. These items vary in prices but most of the time the best items that you use on your faces are quite expensive. Sometimes it takes an investment to look beautiful. On top of that, some people have sensitive skin. Therefore, it is quite understandable why some prefer to buy those that are high-priced. That is why it is important to take care of your makeup. If you do not want to put it into waste, follow some of these tips in how to care for it.
1. When bringing these items with you, make sure to group them all together in one small bag. Doing it this way will avoid having them crushed by your big stuff and it will also be protected from blows when your bag accidentally drops.
2. Store them in specialized boxes at home. There are train cases that you can buy that allow you to organize these things, especially when you have them in large quantities. They come in tiers as well and special mechanics so that when you open it, you can see everything inside it. These items are also good tools to use when you will be traveling.
3. Make sure to avoid putting them in places with extreme temperatures or humidity. Some of them have other components that can cause reaction and might form toxins or irritants that can be bad for your skin when applied.
4. After using them, make sure you seal them properly to avoid wastage or accidental spillage. You also do not want the compactness of some makeup to be destroyed easily.
5. Never leave them anywhere. Keep them out from the reach of your children. They can play with it or it might get accidentally knocked off, that some compact makeup will be powderized.
These are simple things that you can do to make them last longer. They may have their own special casings but that cannot protect them totally. As a responsible user and as one who do not want to waste money, then take care of these little investments. It can really help you a lot in ensuring them to last long enough until they are consumed before expiring.

You have already distributed the invitations and have chosen your wedding reception; you and your groom have already gone to your designer, and have done a taste test. You think you have handled all the important details of your wedding; but you are wrong.
Oftentimes, a bride gives much attention to her wedding gown, but less to her makeup. She thought hiring a professional makeup artist is enough. The responsibility of making her look stunning on her wedding day lies in him or her already. This is wrong. Remember, all eyes - and all cameras - will be on you; hence, you should be very conscious about how you will look. If you have only realize this as you read this article, well, pick up your phone and ask your professional makeup artist for an appointment. It is time to place special attention to some aspects regarding your would-be look on that day. You should not leave any stone unturned. You should discuss about what makeup essentials you will need on your wedding day.
1. Waterproof mascara
Surely, the day will be filled with emotions. Your parents will start shedding tears as you start walking down the aisle; some people will follow. You cannot be sure you will not cry - brides do. Instead of telling your self ‘I will not cry, my mascara will be a total mess…’ use waterproof mascara. It will give you a fresh look from start to end.
2. Translucent Powder
After applying everything on your face, dust your face with translucent powder because it will help a lot in keeping your makeup all day long. More importantly, it will prevent you from wearing a shiny face.
3. Lip Pencil
Yes, this time, ask your professional makeup artist to use lip pencil rather than the ordinary lipstick. Lip pencil will help maintain the color of your lip from the start of the wedding ceremony to the end of the reception. To add luster to your lips, wear it under a lip gloss.
4. Concealer
Concealer works to, as its name suggests, conceal whatever flaws you have on your face. For the most brides, they get stressed even on the day of their wedding. In fact, they get sleepless nights that eye bugs and blemishes are already visible. These dark lines under your eyes have no right to be on your face right on your wedding celebration! Therefore, use concealer to hide them and look good on your wedding day.
5. Lipstick
This will be used to bring the color back to your lips after the wedding ceremony kiss.
Tell your professional makeup artist that the waterproof mascara, powder, lip pencil, concealer, and lipstick are your wedding-day makeup essentials. All should be present during your wedding day - or else, he or she will not get paid. You are not being too harsh, but you only want to be sure about how you will look and feel on your wedding day. You do not want people to tell you just the plain ‘congratulations’. You want to hear them say next: “You look stunning…”

Proper utilization of creative Halloween costume make-up helps you to achieve the look which is realistic and that creep out friends as well as family. While it’s true spooky costumes, treats, games, and parties, are the rules and regulations on Halloween party. But when it comes to your costume this Halloween, don’t give in to the urge for buying yet another hot and uncomfortable Halloween mask. Not only it looks fake, but also makes you feel uncomfortably in all evenings as well. Here are some great Halloween costume tips for using makeup for achieving a life-like Halloween appearance in the coming year.
Age yourself to perfection
Do u wish to know how you’ll look like in the next 40 years? Try applying liquid latex wrinkles to your face so that you can get the latex at any halloween costume store, and applying it for the preferred effect that couldn’t be achieved easier:
- Puff up your cheeks and be relevant by applying a thin coat of liquid latex with a small sponge.
- Keep your eyes tightly shut and apply some latex to the lower corners of your eyes.
- Once the latex is dry, releases the air from your cheeks and makes yourself ready and apply a coat of foundation makeup and you can also add some food coloring to the makeup to create a skin tone in your choice of colors.
The latex will make the look of your eyes droopier and saggy and your skin will be crumpled to perfection. Now you can do up from here and additional makeup effects as needed. Here’s also a great trick for adding up a hairy wart to your face. Put a drop of false eyelash glue onto a peppercorn and apply it on your face. Then just glue a few strands from a paintbrush and so you will be the proud owner of a very ugly wart! Just be sure not to put it very close to your eyes or you’l also be the proud owner of swollen and painful eyeballs that may look great but won’t leave you feeling all that well.
Become the Zombie Bride with the Right Make-Up
The zombie bride is an easily achieved effect if the instant idea aging doesn’t demand to you. Other than wearing a dirty and tattered white dress, all you have to do is paint your face and lips white, using theatrical greasepaint, and apply thick black rings around your eyes. Now gel your hair up and run your fingers for generating the worst “bad hair day” you’ve ever had.
Or the Zombie Groom
You can be a zombie groom only if you’re a man. The makeup process is the identical and the look is also great. Consider if you’d rather be a deranged doctor/nurse. Just get a hold of a pair of hospital scrubs and sprinkle your face, hair, and clothing as well with fake blood along. You can also find a good recipe for fake blood in our Halloweenfantasy.com and is an easy effect for attaining the precise output.
The outfit creates a “toga party” looks. Then just paint your face in green, accentuate your eyes with gold, and throw a few rubber snakes in your hair together with it so that you can be seen beautiful and scary at the same time! Whatever you decide to “become” this year will necessitate creativity easily. Put on your costume for letting your thoughts run wild after applying your Halloween makeup. Whilst you decide to drink or eat something in the evening time, definitely you should be thankful, as you didn’t wear a Halloween mask. Also remember Halloween festival is nothing but all about having fun!

Discovered in the late 70’s, mineral makeup has only recently started gaining popularity in the cosmetics world. One of the most famous claims regarding mineral makeup is that it is actually good for your skin. Is there any truth to this claim? Read on and find out.
First of all - what is mineral makeup? Mineral makeup is made from naturally-occuring crushed minerals, usually zinc oxide, titanium dioxide, iron oxides and mica. These loose minerals are combined together in different quantities to make a variety of mineral makeup powder formulations such as foundations, finishing powders, concealers, blushers, bronzers and eye shadows. The minerals titanium dioxide and zinc oxide in particular, act as a natural sunblock, effectively filtering UVA and UVB rays to deliver sun protection of up to SPF 20.
Mineral makeup is free of irritants like perfumes, preservatives (such as parabens), alcohols and dyes. Many traditional makeup brands use synthetic FD&C dyes in their products - however, these dyes have been identified as the one of the leading causes of allergic reactions in makeup. Most mineral makeup lines do not use synthetic dyes, instead, the colors are derived from naturally-occuring iron oxide pigments. All this makes mineral makeup very suitable for people with sensitive skin. In fact, mineral makeup has even been used after surgical procedures like laser peels, when skin is at its most sensitive.
However, not all mineral makeup lines are completely free of chemical irritants. Some brands use the bismuth oxychloride, which can be very irritating on the skin. Bismuth oxychloride is a mineral that is used in some major mineral makeup lines because it imparts a shimmery look to their makeup, and is a cheap filler. Bismuth oxychloride is also heavy, hence the need to ‘buff’ or force it into your skin. Mineral makeup lines that do not use bismuth oxychloride tend to be lighter in texture and easier to apply.
Mineral makeup can also be good for acne sufferers. By its very nature, mineral cosmetics are non-comedogenic, oil-free, anti-inflammatory and cannot harbor bacteria, which means that acne blemishes can be covered or concealed without further aggravating them. Mineral makeup will not necessarily cure acne, but skin has a much better chance of healing while wearing it, compared to traditional makeup. Many have also reported that they have fallen asleep wearing their mineral makeup without suffering any breakouts the following day. In fact, some mineral makeup lines even have mineral night-time treatments, which are specially-formulated mineral powders that you can wear every night to improve your skin. A good excuse to wear makeup to bed?
Crucially, mineral makeup avoids the use of talc, a known carcinogen found in a lot of traditional makeup. There are also no petrochemicals or coal-derived ingredients, common in a lot of traditional makeup. As you can see, the ingredient listing in say, a mineral foundation is much shorter compared to a traditional liquid foundation.
The positive claims of mineral makeup cannot be applied to all mineral makeup brands or all people. Some will have different reactions compared to others. It is always good to research first before you buy.

Beautifying one`s own self has been the urge of both the sexes since civilization began. Face makeup has always been the most vital part of make over. To create an impression on others, women especially have done various types of face makeup to enhance the look. The style of makeup has undergone changes over the centuries but certain basic rules do remain the same.
There are certain steps to follow to do a good job with the makeup kit. The first step is to cleanse the face well with a cleanser so that excess oil and dirt can be removed. The makeup will set well if this is done. Before applying the base the face should be massaged well with a moisturizer. This will eliminate all chances of dryness.
For a proper face makeup the shape of the face must be taken into account first. A strong jaw line must be done in a way to conceal portion of the jaw with the help of the foundation. The foundation or the base of the face makeup must be carefully selected. This will depend on the complexion of the person. A lighter shade must be used for a person with a bright skin tone. It is important to see that the foundation is well blended with the skin. This is easily done with a bit of water added to the base.
The base must be left to dry for a while. For the summers you can apply a cold compression with ice over the face. This will set the makeup well. For the pimple prone face a water based foundation would be the most appropriate. The foundation must be applied in dots all over the face and then blended. The area under the eye must be treated softly so that it may not leave wrinkles.
The jutting jaws must be colored a shade darker to make them look even. For the face that is round use dark shades on the sides to give a narrow effect. The idea is to hide the defects and highlight the plus points of the face. The next step is to powder the face. There are different shades available. It is best to select the shade that is closest to the skin tone. It is important that the powder blends well with the skin just as the foundation does.
The eyes are the next vital aspects of a face makeup. Here again the shape of the eyes is important. The eye shadow that is applied on the upper eyelids should be a shade that suites the skin as well as the time of the day. Usually a strong makeup at night is appropriate while during the day the makeup is rather light.
The eye liner is used to out line the eyes giving them a prominent shape. For the eyes to look large a thin eye line is the best. For the opposite effect the liner could be a thicker line. This also lends the eyes a dramatic look.
The mascara is then applied over the eye lashes to make it appear longer. They definitely look richer and make the eyes seem bigger. The eye brow may be simply brushed or darkened with an eye brow pencil. The final touch comes with the rouge that lends the face its color and radiance. The rouge can be cream or powder. Soft touches of it to highlight or subdue the cheeks are needed. The art of face makeup needs long practice to bring perfection. The best makeup is done in natural light.

Women put a great deal of importance on cosmetics, mascara and lipstick to make themselves attractive. They feel good about themselves when they are all dolled-up with cosmetics. Just hearing someone say, “you look nice today”, can make their day. Yes, cosmetics, mascara and lipstick have become basic necessities for well dressed women. In fact, most women do not feel that they are good looking without makeup. They feel they will be adversely judged if they do not look pretty. Is there some truth to this? Does society put such emphasis on appearance?
Even though looks shouldn’t matter, the question arises–do good looking people get treated with favoritism? Do they tend to have greater advantages in life? For example, would a stranger be more inclined to come to the aid of a woman who is very attractive? Might she receive better service at the auto shop? Simply because she is good looking?
An experiment was conducted in New York city. Two women were given folders filled with papers. They were told to drop them on a busy sidewalk and observe what would happen. Would anyone help them? When the attractive woman dropped her folder, suddenly people immediately came to help. Then she observed the other “average looking” woman drop her folder. She was saddened when nobody came to her friend’s assistance.
Why this differential treatment? Is this strictly a cultural phenomenon? Do we learn this from observing and imitating others? Well, studies show that babies will look more intently and longer at prettier faces. If infants could not possibly be influenced to be biased at this tender age, then we must somehow be hard-wired, rather than conditioned, to respond more favorably to more attractive people.
What can we do about it?
If it truly is an intrinsic quality of humans to show a more favorable disposition to more attractive people, then there is very little we can do about it. All the rebellion in the world won’t change human nature. If someone pays us a compliment by telling us how nice we look, would we chastise them? Would we question why they show partiality? No, rather, we would be grateful for this compliment and view it as a human kindness.
How to accept this ugly truth?
It will be easier for us to accept this human tendency if we admit that we ourselves at times are partial to this kind of admiration. Depending on if it is to our advantage or not. Favorable when it is to our advantage; not-favorable when we are at the short end of the stick. We must be realistic and remember that a person’s physical attractiveness, just like their personality, impacts every individual literally from birth to death. As unfair as at that may be, it’s reality. We can never change that. The best thing that we can do is change our attitude, learn from others and use it to our advantage.
How to use it to our advantage?
Movie stars are usually renowned for their good looks. To them, their appearance is a top priority. This is because their livelihood depends on it. In fact, some are noted to say, “It is better to look good, than to feel good!” Although, we may view this as an inordinate emphasis on vanity, in reality, it may not be. Think about it! Would they have achieved stardom in show-business due to their excellent health? Of course not! Image is everything in their world. They just know how to project their image to the best of their advantage. We must learn to do the same.
What can we learn from movie stars?
If movie stars put their best foot forwards, wouldn’t we gain limited success by applying their thinking? Consider this–just because a movie star is naturally good looking, doesn’t cause her to not wear makeup. No, she will actually put emphasis on it. Consulting makeup artists to achieve her best natural look. Accentuating the positive, and making negative features less noticeable. Their livelihood and reputation depends on their taking every advantage to look their very best, on camera and off.
How to capitalize on your looks?
Movie stars are privileged to employ the efforts of various makeup artists to achieve their best look. This gives a fresh perspective on what may look better. However, most women who are not in show business, have only done their own makeup application. As a habit, they may be using unfavorable colors and application methods. If you feel like you need a new perspective, why not consult a makeup artist? Their fresh approach and greater experience, might be just what you need to accentuate your best facial features. It is common for women to consult their hair-dressers for a new look–why not do the same with a makeup artist?
How natural cosmetics can help?
Wouldn’t it be nice to be able to just accentuate positive facial features and not have to cover up imperfections. Well, the truth is many skin problems are actually a result of makeup! Most makeup products contain chemicals that irritate the skin and cause blemishes, discoloration, redness and dryness. Instead of covering up facial flaws with synthetic blends of makeup, why not try to correct these flaws by the use of natural cosmetics? You will be surprised how much better your skin will look and feel. Also you will not need to wear as much foundation and makeup! This will save you time, money, and you will be able to concentrate on accentuating positives!
Yes, looks do matter! We do live in a society that puts a great deal of emphasis on appearance. Without cosmetics, society views women as not fully dressed. We can’t change that. But we can take advantage of this. By wearing cosmetics in a way that accentuates our appearance, cosmetics can actually open doors that may otherwise be closed.

Okay, I say mac mascara as it works very nicely. Also, Annabelle eyeliner works nicely too. For Eye shadow, really any brand works. I do love Mac though. And for lip stuff, stay away from lip stick. try lip stains, tinted lip chaps or lip glosses.
Good Luck… I’m sure you’ll look fab!
